My setup is just enough for DE/AX/track days -- it won't be a front-runner in club racing, but it works well for what I built it up to do. -Z |

My turbo S, sold it 3 years ago to buy my 930. It was an awesome car already " well set up " right from the factory. I should have kept it. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1367953597.jpg

A refreshing thread. Spring is here and noticing quite a few beautiful late 944 series on the market. Tempting buys for '88 Turbo S and '89 T or just a big bore S2 in the $10k range. Prefer bone stock and cloth seats (realize harder to find). It's been awhile since in one, but I recall the S2 still was marginal or light on the torque at low end. Wife would be driving it as well and probably wouldn't be as rev happy. What's the more ideal car?

Here is one I worked on today, not " well set up" but a very well cared for daily driven 1984.

I knew you would deliver on this thread Byron!!

I am wondering if these cars are gaining a little head of steam again. I have had several people ask me about them in the last few weeks.

this has to be the best setup 944 of all, since it adds balance and traction:
