Lost my mom two weeks ago. So many memories. Still not sure it’s real.

My Mother will be 83 in July, her In December.

This is my favorite Mother's Day picture with my Grandmother, Aunt and Grandmother's friend.

Mom at age 14. Later in life she laughed how whenever their family was taking pictures that stood next to the car. This is at the house my grandparents bought in 1930 and lived at until 1982.

Both high school valedictorians, and Vanderbilt graduates.
They had my oldest brother before she finished undergrad (math), dad had finished his undergrad CHE degree and was in law school.

Here is my Mom, fifth generation Californian, shoveling snow when my Dad was at MIT in 1959 or so:



She passed in 1990 at the age of 60 from the Emperor of All Maladies. What a Gal.

My mom in 2006, seven months before she passed away. Were she still alive, her birthday would be seven days from now and she would have been 102. Her dad died of the Spanish Flu.
