I had a long, rambling chat with one of my sisters today. She is a former DA and lawyer I often still accuse by billing by the word:cool:

We had the gift of good-bye with both our parents, who were sentient to the end...still a bunch smarter than me.

So, to the point, I got to say those things we never, ever, regret saying if it is true: I love you and thank you.

Say those thing now to your parents and your family if they deserve it. If not, I completely understand the angst.

This starts at my parents wedding. Great images of mom and dad as young puppies.

This was nearly four years before I existed. The teenage boy jumping around for the camera is my mom's only brother. He was born just as mom was graduating from high school. Can you say whoops?

^^^ Very cool home movies Glenn!
It says prior 1954...some of it must be older than that?

Yea, they were married in 1951. That movie goes up to my brother's first birthday party. He is 2.5 years older than me. They were just 21 years old and were married for 50+ years before mom died.

It took me until I was 36 years old to find my wife, and one more year to get married.

I have many hours of boring home movies I scanned from a 8mm films. I have the original film, the scans on my RAID5 storage system, and all uploaded to YouTube as a forever storage place. I sent links to all the relatives to watch the movies. Hopefully they kept the notes on how to watch them again.

That video is great, Glen.

I'll leave it at that. Wow.

Another of mine from '68. She was 45 years old.

It was only 2 months later that she'd lose my father and her husband of 24 years....

My Mother didn't want to go anywhere or be around a group of people, so there is a new crab cake place, so I went and picked her up whatever she wanted, and she really enjoyed the food. The last picture is mothers day last year, the last time my sister was able to go out.

My Mother will be 87 in July.
