Nice race day, except for the IMS' new, post-Boston security measures that were completely abandoned after entry lines approached two hours in places.

Tim
Nice seats!

Forget who's quote this is but sums it up pretty good.

After all 2nd is just the first loser

God bless him for lasting that long.

Nice shot Tim, we were just a little further down in section H. I agree it was a great day ... we got there early, entered the track a little before 9 and there was no wait. We were watching the line grow outside section C and couldn't believe how long it was getting around 11.

The only issue we had was getting out of lot 1B. Hard to believe in this day and age they aren't better organized about getting cars out of the lot because once you got out and on the street they sure had that organized !

I'll post up some of my pics later once I finish going through them all.

Milt, some people just can't get past the stupid looking cars and the slow speeds. I'm one of em

You know, the race broke the record for the fastest Indy 500 in history with an average speed of 187.433 mph...

The cars do need a new ass end, though.

Was a pretty good race. Seemed like better coverage, MUCH less annoying ads.

A highlight for me was seeing Jim Nabors singin' "Back Home" again. Wish they had showed him singing instead of a shot of those balloons.

Glad he's back. You the man Gomer!
