Anyone here been to Nurburgring for F1 race?
I've just realized it could fit into my schedule while here in Germany. So what is the low down on going , where to stay, good place at the track for viewing etc? Best ticket source?
Is it going to suck not speaking German? Are there lots of Brits there? Went to Le Mans Classic a few years ago and it was fantastic, but more Brits than any other nationoality, Made it easy for me. Tune me in guys Cheers Richard |

I was there, unfortunately it was back in 1970. So I'm no help but if you can get to the Ring any time plan to go. I don't think the lack of German will negatively effect the visit. So many Germans speak English you can always ask them what the announcer said.
 How could it not be fun, car nuts all speak the same language.I'd go in a heartbeat. Have fun. |
