My daughter just bought a pair of Wayfarer's and we were talking about this same subject. I had Clubmans in high school that I use to wear. One thing I will mention is that they are more for the look then sunblocking. There is so much light that gets around them, you can understand why most go for the Oakleys and newer designs.

I still have my 1st pair from 1982, and a red & black pair from 86 and a current pair, yes, I'm a Wayfarers fan
