Ended up getting the Beats stereo and sunroof as they had one like that on the lot in the celeste green she wanted and we got it for a fair chunk under invoice. The sunroof is a bit of a fail as there is no solid cover (mesh screen) but you can pop a $30 shield up there to cover it or tint it.

She hasn't had a new car since her '02 Tacoma TRD so she's a happy camper. I got a good price and cheap long term money so I'm happy and we can always dump it if push comes to shove. 4 year/50K miles warranty so at least should be fine for the next few years. We'll see how it holds up.

Congrats!
I like that color.
I wish my Abarth had your instrument cluster...mine's black and hard to view in daylight.

Have fun.

A lesson I learned about life years ago: take things (esp. people) on their own terms.

51K Miles on mine....bought it the week they came out. mine was parked next to both of Jay Leno's 500's at the dealer downtown LA.

No real issues at all. been dead reliable. perfect commuter...average 37 MPG going up and down the mountains up to the desert.

We know a car has "arrived" when the owners defend it.

Yeah, do...and tell about the installation, too.
So I finally got around to installing the short shift kit today. It took around 15 minutes to install and I found it incredibly easy to do.

Initial results are a much shorter and tighter feeling shift. I love it and would definitely recommend it.

Yeah, I like colors, too (ex g/f trained me).
When I bought my '88 Yam. FZR1000 the dealer had some new 2 yr. old Yam. cruiser on sale. I didn't want the bike but I commented on the mauve leather seat and soft green tank...saying something like, "Oh man, great color combo!"
Found out later at the track that the sales guys thought I was gay - based on my comment.

Todd, both fun cars! Did you post a review/impressions of the X1 somewhere? I want to read it.

saw one in person this am and I like the front fender & windshield 'view'

the rear just looks ungainly to me... not so ungainly that I couldn't have fun in an Abarth version tho...
