To the OP . . .
I just read on a travel forum that the museum in Ephesus will be closed until October. And . . . there is a site called cruisecritic & within it you can contact other cruisers pre-cruise to plan your own excursions etc . . . fwiw Ian edit: here is the link where I got the info: Fodors
