In 2-4 years I could beat back the wilderness encroaching on the house.. For the last couple months, I was trying to do that plus take care of my own place......200 miles apart. One semi-hunkered up old guy vs 2 properties didn't work out as well as I hoped. The old "work yourself into shape" trick doesn't work out very well anymore. Mom was into planting "things" and watching them grow...(I inherited that)..but long term planning in that regard was not her strong suit.

So sorry for your loss. Its kind of a strange feeling now. My dad passed in 1976, my mom in 1992, and my sister in 2000. I'm the only one left and I'm pissedd because I, 've got nobody to talk to about the way things used to be. If anyone here has any siblings you had better hug them,kiss them, and contact them before it's too late.
