Sounds morbid but i'd want to see a crash history at race tracks to feel good about the crash engineering and the welds.

+1........but talking is much easier than getting some skin in the game to back up an opinion. Granted, the big round tube F5 Cobra frame, while true to the original, is still a flexi flyer.
The 818 frame looks pretty stout to me. I don't like the square tubes but ,if compensated for to equal round tube, I can understand it from a manufacturing stand point. I've done enough fishmouth cuts & welds to last me a lifetime.
