Worst movie ever!

At Least it was for me. "To the Wonder" was the title. Starring Ben Affleck and others. I usually like big Ben's movies even Gigli. But this was a STINKER! Recommend it to someone you hate.

I appreciate Ben Affleck. He seems like a nice enough guy. BUT I can't watch him in any movies. I would best explain is acting style as "wooden". His buddy Matt Damon is great and far a far better actor.

bell 09-25-2013 05:22 AM

I feel the same way about world war z......lol

Z-man 09-25-2013 05:28 AM

Con Air.

When the diabetic prisoner's insulin bottles cracked open and a couple hours later the fellow was near death -- um - yeah - that's realistic.

Nevermind the face that Nick Cage has the acting actilities of a tomato rotting on a half-dead vine...

Saw WWZ as part of a double feature with Star Trek. ST was great. My 14 year old son agreed with me that WWZ was among the worst movies ever.

yellowperil 09-25-2013 05:39 AM

Ben and Casey

I liked Ben in "The Town", but maybe his brother Casey is really the better actor. He was great as the coward Robert Ford in The Jesse James movie. IMO

Embraer 09-25-2013 06:00 AM

Troll 2....but I actually like it.

Danimal16 09-25-2013 06:02 AM

Leonard Part VI.

Eric 951 09-25-2013 06:23 AM

Billy Jack Goes to Washington

cashflyer 09-25-2013 06:31 AM

I thought Plan 9 From Outer Space was universally considered the worst ever.
Or perhaps Attack of the Killer Tomatos

Of recent movies, the wifey and I thought Oblivion was pretty "lacking".
Plot holes, story inconsistencies, continuity errors, etc.

Too bad about WWZ, as I was planning to rent it this weekend.
Have not heard of To The Wonder. Guess I'm lucky like that.

jtfreels 09-25-2013 08:00 AM

Iron Sky check it out......

WWZ isn't that bad, glad I didn't buy 2 tickets for it though

krystar 09-25-2013 08:14 AM

only Iron Sky was BAAAAD.

at first, yer like hell yea! nazi's in space! then it just gets bad...and worse....and OMG worse.

legion 09-25-2013 08:56 AM

I really like Nick Cage as a person, but hate his acting.

BTW, "Leaving Las Vegas" is the worst movie ever made.

Plot:

Nick Cage: "I'm an alcoholic, and I'm going to drink myself to death."

Elizabeth Shue: "I'm a prostitute."

Nick Cage: "Don't fall in love with me, because I'm going to drink myself to death."

Elizabeth Shue: "I love you."

Nick Cage: "Eck!........I'm dead."

If you want to see a really bad movie, go rent "The Room".

The man with the iron fists.

I love Kung Fu flicks and love Lucy Liu...

But man what a stinker!

Worth watching to see Lana Delaney in that outfit.

George, I clicked on your link and now there is not a single reason for me to watch it.

BlueSkyJaunte 09-25-2013 12:35 PM

Iron Sky was awesome, but I have a thing for blonde German ice queens.

Now Big Blue? That was a truly awful movie. Thankfully atypical in Luc Besson's oeuvre.

romad 09-25-2013 12:53 PM

......there are so many tied for first you could never list one. funny listing exit eden ..from the director of pretty woman...another bad movie.

bell 09-25-2013 01:01 PM

Mellancollia.......on Netflix.........good God..........lol

atcjorg 09-25-2013 01:46 PM

I'm sorry I have to go with Battlefield Earth as worst

varmint 09-25-2013 02:11 PM

some things like battlefield earth become funny over time. and therefor have a value. someday mystery science theatre will get ahold of it.

but take a movie like the kevin smith/ben afflek perfect turd storm "Jersey Girl". it will never be anything but unbearable.

Porsche-O-Phile 09-25-2013 03:07 PM

Shame since most Kevin Smith movies are pretty entertaining. Haven't seen Jersey Girl and probably won't.

My suck list includes Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure and Uncle Buck. And pretty much anything with Jim Carey. All overdone, overhyped and stupid.

SteamWolf 09-25-2013 03:21 PM

Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close - I hated everything about this misery-pit of a movie. Obviously it means a lot to New Yorkers.

A Fantastic Fear of Everything - I am a big fan of Simon Pegg movies, but this one is a dog. Uninteresting, unfunny, and in the end you realise that throughout the entire plot nothing actually happened.

The worst movie of all time, ever, has to be Dungeons and Dragons (2000). Yet to see anything worse than that.

We just watched Pain&Gain this w/e.....http://forums.pelicanparts.com/support/smileys/puke.gif

I checked that film out twice at the public library, the second time by mistake.

I've never made it though that film, slow pace, beyond slow.

It is terrible, so bad you cannot even love to hate it.

I'm not sure what the director was trying to do.

Nostril Cheese 09-25-2013 04:15 PM

Star Trek into Darkness. Just terrible.

Fargo. Just never got it.

nostatic 09-25-2013 04:58 PM

omg - Fargo is brilliant.

Running on Empty. Saw it in a theater and was laughing out loud at lines that were supposed to be serious.

SteamWolf 09-25-2013 05:15 PM

They played Running on Empty at the cinemas?? Man, that's an old movie now...

I walked out after awhile. It was just stupid.

Bill Douglas 09-26-2013 01:04 AM

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Sharknado yet.

Groesbeck Hurricane 09-26-2013 02:54 AM

I have NEVER seen a movie worse than Americathon. That includes Billy the Kid versus Dracula!!!! Attack of the Killer Tomatoes was at least funny. Rocky Horror has some good lines, is great to talk to, and has some killer horrible music. I cannot remember ANYTHING about Americathon with a redeaming value.

In most of the local theaters in Houston it did not last opening weekend. Now I read the write-ups and you'd think this stinker was great comedy. It was more like proof great comedians cannot always pull off a brain-dead script even if it has a great premise.

monoflo 09-26-2013 05:54 AM

The remake of Pink Panther with Steve Martin,
Saw it on an airplane --unwatchable and shut it off

It was kinda sad and maybe not a great movie but I thought it was a good movie... and I'm a native Kalifornian.

cashflyer 09-26-2013 03:38 PM

Maybe not the worst, but Oblivion was full of inconsistencies and plot holes.
But it was pretty.
