Kids cover Tool "46 and 2"
Worth a watch, even if you don't like the genre. Some real musicianship from these kids....

Too good!
Is that an original by the kids, themselves? Drummer ain't too shabby, either.

Kaisen and I must have some sort of vulcan mind meld going on. I was just copying and pasting the link to the same video and heading over here to post it on Pelican. I ran into it after watching another one of my favorite Tool covers on youtube.
Unbelievable coincidence. Growling isn't my thing (although I dig Opeth), you should also check out this cover of My Curse by Killswitch Engage: ohly hsit!!!

Love Tool. Great song, brilliantly played by these kids, they've got bright futures ahead of them.

No, it's a cover of a band called Tool. The song is "Forty Six & 2"
It's a good tune. Beyond that, the meaning of the song is very deep: Some Aboriginal tribes have only 44 chromosomes (42 and 2 for gender - XX/XY) and their consciousness is said to be connected as "one", as all cells, organisms, and life is "one" and from one energy (most Native Americans believe the same). We have 46 chromosomes, 44 and 2, and we are supposedly a disharmonic stepping stone in evolution where we recognize ourselves as individuals. It is thought that the next evolution will be 46 and 2, where our consciousness is beyond one (44), beyond our recognition of the individual (46), and ion to a consciousness of a higher power (48). The people who are into this stuff believed some change in the energy of the universe about 25 years ago allowed us to evolve to 46 and 2. Here are two video explanations of the theories, set to Tool's "46&2" (if you want to hear the original tune):

Because having kids do "Stinkfist" would be too disturbing...

Another Tool "deeper meaning" theory that may be waaaay out there. Or not.
Same album as 46&2 Fibonacci sequences

Great job by those kids. Very impressive!
Hard to believe that the first time I saw Tool in concert was 20 years ago. I'm old. Ha |

Interesting cover of You Could Be Mine by Guns n' Roses, same school different kids.
I kind of like the male/female vocal arrangement, and the girl has a powerful voice. There are a couple of other Iron Maiden covers, and Pantera too. Cool school, talented kids. |
