Does it add or subtract to the value of a 996? I think for me I prefer a stock engine. The 3.4 seems to make plenty of power. |
VF kit. Will make good power, but reliability?
Never as good as stock. Definitely don't pay more for the car based on it. |
A buddy of mine sc'd his 997.1S. He now has a 997.2 turbo. He told me eventhough the sc gave him more power than his turbo, the turbo was much smoother in delivery.

Clean looking Arena Red cab. Looks like the seller doesn't know jack about it, which might make for a deal....

Locally, (in Denver) 996's were stagnate over the winter at about 21k, with some warm weather they are now approaching 25k in decent condition.
This one is crazy. but an example. 1999 Porsche Carrera 4 Coupe 6 Speed Flawless 36k Miles |

Don if you want a second set of eyes on that, my schedule is open today

"Fair" condition. Hmm - that could be interpreted so many ways...
|
I wouldn't call 23.5 priced to sell with those miles on a base car...

Nominated for worst ad ever. Not nearly cheap enough. The bumper might be the same color, sometimes that transition between the steel fenders and hood to the plastic bumper cover looks funny in pictures.

FWIW - in March I sold my '03 996 with 151K miles for $14K and other than having had a respray was in better shape than that one appears to be. |

This supposedly has a 1,000 rebuilt 3.8 from a reputable shop locally. I'm almost tempted to offer them like $20k and put the motor in my C4S, put my 96k motor in this car and sell it for $15k or whatever I could get.
New Price..... great buy ! 2002 Porsche C4S |
Good looking car. I've never driven one, but I would like to.
I'm even leaning towards a Tip now.... |
|
Fair price. I like it.
Add '6 speed manual' to your ad.... |
