Word of mouth (shop that did my PPI and online forums) on the CF interior package is that it does not age well. Mine looks new and my factory options list (ordered through Suncoast) confirms they are not factory original.

Opposite Matt's car mine is mostly a stripper - not that there's anything wrong with a realtionship with a stripper...

2000 Porsche C4 Cabriolet

This is more like what I am looking for, just not into awd, or cabs. I think I could fix this car for 2k and a weekend or two of my time. Im half tempted to watch this car for a few weeks, let him fester, then shoot him an offer.

Cracked head is my guess, I'm sure you've already guessed as well (most common on 2000-01). Yeah, he's asking too much.

Nope, I'm looking for an automatic...these two fit the bill just wondering why they are so inexpensive?

The emergency pull-cable to release the front hood is hanging out the right front cooling duct in the sixth photo. This means the battery had died / dies often or the front trunk release from the cabin doesn't work, and that is how the owner gets into the frunk.

That is just the tip of the iceberg, I am sure.

Truer words never spoken.

Someone has pulled the pin on that grenade. Do you want to catch it?

Could be a bunch of small things you can fix over 6 months of driving, or it might be a grenade. Do you feel lucky today?

They are cheap. They're the bargain of the Porsche world right now. If a nice '04 with 100k miles is $20k, what is a '99 going to be worth?
