Looks like nobody wants to do any gardening.

^^^ I had a French drain project planned and it was terminated because of a better solution.
Most of the items still have the sales stickers on them yet.

I just think it's an insult to the seller when the buyer wants to Jew down very low priced items.
It's something I would never attempt to do.

Some people can’t be happy unless they get the “better” of the deal. If I need to get a certain amount for something, I just price it slightly higher and then “reluctantly” take their lower price.

If I know I have listed something at a great price and the person tries to talk me down and I don’t want to budge, I just tell them I have a couple more interested parties(usually true on great deals) and since they are the first one, I’m firm on the price, but if the other people back down, I will sell it to them for their offer. Normally they won’t risk losing the object at that good of a price.

^^^ Agree...it's easy to spot the ones that want it just for getting it at 'next to nothing'

I had one guy that messaged last week "Please hold these items for me...I will be there this afternoon with the money"
I answered back that I would...only for that afternoon.

He never showed up...wasted my time.

Haggle, dicker, or negotiate better?

Perhaps if you clarify your classified by stating "Price is firm" -or- if willing to negotiate "OBO - Or Best Offer", it would help.

Got a message from him last night...."if you decide to take $40 for them I would definitely be interested."

I'll prob take that and be done with it.
