MD Holloway, aka Lubey sent me a very nice package! Total score! It had a fishing tool combo pack, a visor LED light (I actually have been wanting to get one of these!), 2 nice lockback pocket knives, a multi-tool, a game knife/saw set, and...a sharpener!!
Thank you, Mike! and Thank you, Recycled Sixty for taking the reigns and putting this all together. I'm getting ready for work...I don't think it'll be too busy tonight. Have a safe and Merry Christmas, Mike

No problem Mike, I didn't know if you fished or hunted but thought worst case you could re-gift!

Thanks Jim (on2wheels52) for gifts! Got a coffee table book of Jazz legends, Chick Corea CD, handy pen/screwdriver combo, actual gold and silver, and a digital thermometer.
Digital thermometer is extra cool for someone who lives in Phoenix. Will be fun trying to pry it away from my wife, who's already trying to claim it for use in the kitchen! Thanks again Jim for the cool stuff! ![]()

wow.. just wow. Mikester sent me a cool little RC copter, a space pen, a small fix-all kit of duct tape and wd-40 and a pelican sticker.. maybe I can learn to fly it using a real control box. bought a junk one last year that was controlled with an iphone app .. gave it away the same day. thank you so very much Mike.. easily the very best present I got this xmas.. well, only present I got but if there were others, it would still be my favorite.. .. quit doing the family holiday/birthdays thing maybe 20 years ago so the only present i get thru the year is the ppot gift exchange from someone I don't know, that doesn't know me, will never meet, sending me something from somewhere..just because he wants to. that's so cool... doesn't matter to me if it's trash or treasure, useful or useless, just opening the box to find out what it could possibly be is the thing I enjoy the most.... thank you so very much Mike

PPOT Gift Exchange
If I knew nipple lube was such a hot commodity, I would have included some. Besides, David said he was going to recycle mine and his pelican would get it. Who got the nipple lube?
But thanks for idea... I will include some on my package next year. Don't fight, fellas. ![]() And Jesset, so glad you liked it. Was worried since it was such an eclectic assortment. But stuck to the rules of not buying anything. ![]() Merry Christmas! |

Mine came from Glen (GH85Carrera). I was digging the box as it was a repurposed Fiocchi ammo box complete with the 1.4S labeling, etc.
Inside was a beautiful pen set, a book mark, two models and some really cool rocks. These are soapstone and you put them in the freezer to use as ice cubes or the microwave to heat up (for cold and hot drinks respectively). The stones hold the temperature without melting and diluting the drink! They are currently being enjoyed in their chilled state with some Crown Royal. Nice, Glen. VERY nice! thanks! angela

Rusty Heap (Seattle Dave) sent me a cool package with cooking and brewing books, cooking/brewing utensils and a very nice note. I'm going to send him some samples of my homebrewed beer since he appreciates a handmade beer now and then!

Well my Secret Santa took a big chance (esample???). Inside my box was a NICE pair of Piloti driving/dress shoes. But my 13EE's couldn't be stuffed in there. But like a PERFECT bank shot in pool, my daughter's boyfriend is now doing driver development at the track and last week we were talking about wearing driving shoes vs. sneakers. I told him to look professional. So the shoes are now his and will debut at Willow Springs this weekend! Sorry, no pix...he and my daughter are out on the town. Unreal how things sometime work in the real world. Thanks so very much! Me personally (don't know if you do) I love getting a letter w/ my gift. So many cool little facts come out in those nuggets.
P.S. Angela, Glen was my SS last year. I think of him everyday as I grab a pen or pencil from the holder he gifted me.
