Yes, but they do make a .44 which is bigger 'n better, and more accurate. |

A .44 is faster but isnt any more accurate.

5/6 shots versus 14 w/o reloading. The one reason I purchased this. I will still have my magnum for backup.
I've yet to find any decent hollow point for the .45. Here in Colorado....the prices and availability sucks......WalMart had better stuff. |

Out of a Dirty Harry gun the longer barrel gives the projectile more stability, and the fixed barrel other than the usual .45 in semi auto with bushing and lockup, makes it more accurate too. We have a 50 yard called the Russian and the .44s win every time. |
While practicing on a 50 yard course is fun.....unless the black helicopters are coming I don't see it as useful or pertinent.
Ah, yes yer honor, he was 50 yards away and I opened up on heem.....I knew he was coming at me with intent. I could see the glint in his eye, he was gonna kill me. |
go to federal ammo. punch in .45acp read the charts.
generally in a non race gun application 185gr federal will shoot flatter. 230 JHP is best all around and thats what i shoot or remington golden sabers . butttttttttttttttttttttt.......................... make sure ya SHOOT JHP's rapid fire and make sure no FTE FTF's happen. 200 rds as fast as ya can load or dump and reload mags and get it good and hot will tell ya what feeds and groups best. you can hunt with that there .45 as LONG AS YA GOTS JHP's. NO FMJ's or mr ranger is gonna whack yer pee pee HARD! |
