Too bad I missed your first posting, as a pilot you would LOVE the Fantasy of Flight museum.
Aircraft Museum and Central Florida Attraction | Fantasy of Flight Nice collection of aircraft that are displayed well, and most are flown on a regular basis. Each day they pull one out of the collection, do a show and tell, then fly it off of the air strip. That and Sea World were the only two things that I enjoyed about taking the family to Orlando, otherwise it was tourist hell.

I have seen the Fantasy of Flight museum back when we took the kids to Disney, but I'm sure its changed some in the last 20yrs. I may swing by on our next trip. Thanks.

The Fantasy of Flight museum isn't the biggest that I've been to, but it's one of the better ones. It is located on an airstrip, you should be able to fly in. The Naval Air Museum at NAS Pensacola is awesome but quite a ways from Orlando or Naples, but if you're lucky you might see the Blue Angels practicing.
