Nice work.
I'd probably only stick 2 390 cfm's on that tho
I have 2 750's on mine. cant go very far on a tank of fuel.
fuel pump is rated at 180 GPH
You can open both fours and WATCH the gas gauge drop ...seriously
tach goes one way, gas gauge the other.
I think I want a 392 Hemi boat
I had the 660 center squirters on my 92, worked good with the weezer.
And be careful what you wish for.
My back was tan and my belly was white, from leaning over that motor at the river.

That was mostly my fault tho, I was pushing it way too hard.

I love this story, dunno why. Guess something's wrong with me:

I had sent my vertex mag off to Joe Hunt to work his magic.
The day it came back I was ohhhing and aweing over it, showing my friends the coolest thing in the world.
My girlfriend came out of the house and asked what the big deal was so I showed her the new toy.
She said what does it do?

I said, as the horns grew out of my haid, it's easier to show you than to try and explain it.
Here, hold onto this and this.

Then I grabbed the input shaft and gave it a spin, whcich sounds easier than it was.

She screamed and jumped a foot easy. Darned near made me drop the magneto.
She was crying, I was laughing, she moved out, I missed her but eventually got over it.

(I had hit myself earlier just to see what it felt like. It scared her, hurt a bit, but wasn't dangerous)

Hot Rod Pics

This is not really about the hemi re-build, but a fellow pelican asked to see more pics of my hotrod and I couldn't figure out how to send privately, so you'll all have to pay no mind.

Oh be still my heart! What a great car! '63 Plymouth was my favorite body style of that era.

I have an all original, never been rebuilt 58 392 from a new yorker stashed in my garage. 70,000 miles on it! I had to replace the head gasket back when i got it and then drove it for a year. It needs to be pulled apart and hot tanked before its driven again because of the non detergent oil build up in it, but its a really solid motor.

I should put it in something.

Yeah, they're getting a bit scarce. Nice engine. Nothing says POWER like a Hemi. Hang on to it.
