Holy Scheiss!!!
$42K

That's 911 money. Beautiful car but not worth $42K. At least not to me.

Wow! I must say I must be clueless on things like this (even though I once owned one) because I would not have thought it would be much more than about $15K.

Of course, it is hard to believe that my almost flawless, low mile '74 and '89 911s (that I really need to drive more) would go for more than $25K. I have not bought a new car for a long time...and have never paid more than around $30K.

I recently was offered a very nice '67 Camaro SS for $30K and probably could have gotten the guy down...but could not pull the trigger. According to what I have read, that is a steal...but it seemed ridiculous to pay $30K for an old car...even if very nice.

Any Scirocco fans?

It is a steal, but the driving experience is meh. I think all of us here look at our 911s as 20k card and shake our heads.

Nice there is a vw golf drag car with twin vr6 engines that comes up on utube occasionally. They sound crazy enough with one engine! Im sure its a pretty unique experience. Iv been thinking of building a gokart with two engines I have the front hubs to do it. I have a minibike with two engines and it pulls like a freight train and the sound is awesome.

That color along with the blue and red version using that tone, is perfect for these cars.

These cars where not designed like Porsches of the day.

The Scirocco was/is easily over-stressed in so many places.

I was watching a movie on Pluto TV, it ended and Planes Trains and Automobiles started. I must have watched it dozens of times, but hey, what's that? Right at the beginning.

A MKI with GTI wheels. Same color as one of my old Sciroccos.

I don't blame you. That is one fine example. The ATS wheels are perfect too.

Oh, to have a bigger garage.... Nice example.

I hate the wheels and it's a strange car having 23k miles and being completely restored(?) And the golf ball shifter is missing?

I'll be curious to see where it goes but I like mine better.
