It's one thing to hack a drone, and entirely another to hack a piloted plane.
Hypothetically... Let's say is it a Boeing Aircraft. You would need a cooperating pilot or else he'd just grab the stick. Let's say it's an Airbus and pilot inputs can be overridden by computer. You'd still have to wipe out communications to avoid pilot reporting the event as it was happening. I cannot believe all comms on a plane are computer based/reliant. So that leaves us with a cooperative pilot - which means you wouldn't need to hack in the first place. Unless we're talking about a pilot not cooperating but perhaps acting under duress...like say... his missing wife and family was actually kidnapped by the evildoers. But now we're pretty much shaving with Occam's Spoon, aren't we?. |

Sarah Bajc (partner of passenger Phillip Wood) smells a rat and says many former pilots, military, etc. have contacted her at the Finding Phillip Wood FB page and told her they believe the flight was "taken," not crashed.

There is no way the plane was "hacked". It is not made to be flown remotely. So that makes a huge list of obstacles to overcome, just from the start. Also, there are redundant overrides to disconnect an autopilot, should it malfunction. In addition to all that, they are intentionally made weak enough that a normal person can physically overpower the autopilot, should the need arise.
It is surprising that the craft has not been found. But there are very few facts to support a good search. The search area is anywhere from the size of Texas to the size of the US, depending on what you want to base it on. It never fails to amaze me how people will so quickly believe some elaborate conspiracy, but find it impossible to believe that it simply crashed from mechanical failure, human intervention or human error. And that maybe, just maybe, there are places on this world that are not always on radar or connected by cell tower, or internet. As for satellite coverage, why in the world would any government give a rip to put valuable satellite assets on that part of the worlds ocean (before all this happened). Sometimes you just got to say "s**t happens" and move on. . |

If the plane is on the (dry) ground somewhere, it must have had in-flight refueling capability since the last satellite ping put it somewhere where it wouldn't have had enough fuel to get to land.

What's the latest…nothing?
|
Latest is that a Chinese ship has picked up a ping of the same frequency as the black box.
|
Now they have had time to move it to the ocean....

Hope NOT !
There is a risk of stupidity, arrogance, and ignorance falling out or off the plane on me. |
