The clips remind me of an indexing detent similar to what you might find in a faucet application.

Are the tubes hollow?

Sorry I didn't get to post earlier. The tubes are indeed hollow, but they are also fully threaded on the inside. Very peculiar.

Those are for mounting bicycle disc brakes. The little plastic horseshoe shaped things go around the head of an 5mm allen bolt that bolts the caliper to the frame, the legs are held by part of the bike frame and they keep the allen bolt from spinning out.

The silver thing is one of several that are used to lock the brake disc to the hub.

Those are supply line fittings for the soap injector in a car wash spray head. The tube screws into the spray head and the clamps attach the plastic line from the drum of soap to the tube. The metal things tie the plastic line up so it doesn't put strain on the tube/spray head.

So even though I like your injector thoughts, these tubes are fairly hollow. I.e. the shell is quite thin (even though it's threaded inside from end to end). So if it was fuel going through there, it would be enough to start my house on fire.

That said....who would bring bike parts or fuel injector parts to house break-in? In other words, if you were going to break into someone's house, why would you have these parts with you? What purpose would they be serving?
