Back in So Cal. Thanks again for all the great tips. Some highlights:
Somewhere up north. The further you get from Detroit, the less cars. But they're pretty much all American cars. Then this thing flashes by me - it took it as a harbinger of good things: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I somehow missed this thread....shame on me as I live in Windsor and could have showed you around.
At any rate...looks like you had a good trip and congrats on the graduation.

You are a trooper and did it! Looks like you heeded all the advice including that of dressing for the cold. Great looking family! Diverdan |

I know it's not upper MI, but the Henry Ford Museum (just call it "the Henry Ford") is world-class. I haven't been there in years, but I believe the cars include 1 of 6 Bugatti Royales (incredibly huge) & the GT40 that Gurney & AJ won LeMans in. And you will see the biggest train engine you have ever seen. (Someone please correct me as necessary about the cars.)

I went to the Ford her sophomore year and to it's neighbor - Greenfield. Both excellent places. But can you believe that their autos (almost all) were closed for renovation??? Next time....
The Ford is still seriously cool - the history of the industrial revolution if you ask me! Also awesome - the DIA!
