I have to agree with the SC needing to be on the list, and not because I own one. I own one because after much research and many many miles of test drives and just pure fun I bought one. I feel it is one of the best offerings from Porsche. Are there other models that do things better, well sure there are, is there one that combines the best of all worlds, I don't feel there is. I will always have an SC, even though I own other Porsches and have owned ones I have sold, for me it's the SC

I cannot find the quote anywhere, but I remember a quote from a Porsche engineer who said the 3.2 Carrera was the best pure sports car Porsche ever made.
I can't really say, as I've only driven 5 or 6 different models.
