Did some spoon swappin'
And ended up with a rather nice 1964 vintage Browning Semi Auto 22 - the 22 short only model.
Lusted after one of these for a looong time, and "only" gave up my Contender which I didn't really shoot anyway. Think I came out ahead value wise too ![]() Of course, now I have to try and find 22 short ammo ![]()

Jealous here as well, beautiful Python! How does it shoot?
I enjoy a little spoon swapping, I traded my Sig P250 Subcompact that I never carried for a Colt Trooper mk3 6" a while back. Pretty happy with that transaction. |

Thanks, the Python has been a "quest" for a long time. It shoots great. The PO says he put about 100 rnds of .38special through it & I've shot 36 rnds of .38s & 6 .357 mags. Wonderful revolver. I also have the original box and paperwork too.
I swapped my HK USP .40 ( + $$ ) to do the deal and am pretty satisfied. Last year I swapped a couple of autos for a couple of older S&W revolvers and really enjoy shooting the revolvers . 1937 911 T MFI Coupe, Aubergine Steve |

That is one SWEET Python. ...Since you like spoon trading...and you mentioned a hankerin for a lever-action 22 that shoots anything but magnums...how about I trade my Winchester 9422 XTR for that Python??? I'm serious ![]() ![]()

Yep. Thanks. Pretty simple. Just trimmed leather glued where the stock and barrel rests.
