Just to make the intent of my OP a little clearer,

It's my opinion that an individual that commits multiple felonies in full public view with witnesses and also admits to at least 32 prior felonies in a 2 week period has got a screw lose.

You have never struck me as much of a "hand wringing ninny". Why start now?

The guy lives in your neighborhood, which looks like a fairly nice, upscale 'hood. Do you really think someone as completely "unbalanced" as you portray here could afford to do that? Really? Do you really feel like he would somehow threaten you, or turn into a threat, if you simply went and talked to him? Wow. You need to back away from the keyboard - and the internet - and get out more.

Jeff, I don't think there's any hand wringing going on. I think it's a combination of knowing of the possibility of ricochet and the fact that this guy knows he's discharging a firearm in a residential area against local regs and doesn't care... aka "thinks the laws are for everybody else, not him."

You mean like the guy that the other poster has a thread about that lives on the private runway but is clearly very crazy. Hell, that guy can afford a plane and seems mentally unstable.

It's surprising sometimes how successful crazy people can be. Don't forget, that not everyone that's crazy starts out being crazy. Sometimes they turn crazy later on.

Even better would be a high powered pellet gun, no noise and will kill any snake dead with one shot. The guy just needs to go into stealth mode.

I hear what you're saying here, but I just don't think they can get the military to come in with laser guided bombs to clear out snakes.

I would certainly hope so but I wouldn't put anything past someone who just throws trapped armadillos into a tank to drown.
