This is do-able. I recently put YOM plates on a car that I brought into CA from Idaho.

That is one gorgeous car! I like the roadsters even more than the gullwings...I think they'd be much more usable as a driver too. There's a local guy here who drives his well-worn black w/red roadster quite often...I see it parked on the street all over town. I like that...driving them is what it's all about.
