I'm sure it will fare better than a 996 lol.

Agreed. Quite possibly my favourite car to ever come out of the USA. One day I'll own one. Of course, I'll have to add a 10-foot extension to my garage...

For all the Caddy haters out there......I have been one. But then I drove a 2014 CTS and the ATS, damn......nice cars. I ended up buying one!! Great fit and finish, excellent power, good price.
I was a die hard Acura driver for years.........
Go drive one!

The new Caddys are as far removed from the 80s Caddys as the 80s Corvettes are removed from a 2014 Vette.

Massive improvements. Of course that same same thing can be said for most cars.

Agreed. Not being a total hater, but that shizzle I posted pics of (in jest), is just that: SHIZZLE! GM should have been ashamed of themselves! Seems like the dark ages for most American cars, when you look back. As for the new Caddy, I like it very much.

Wow tough crowd. He's looking for bumper extensions. The junk yards sent him junk. He said it was a Coupe De Ville.

Thanks to all that replied.

If they could find a way to make square tires roll, Cadillac would use square tires.

Anyway you want to cut it, it is still JUNK.

I to thought that this Thread would be about some earlier rendition of the marquee..

64 was the last year of the definitive fin..and thus the end

Some may think the 76 Eldo convertible...is worthy.. whatever...

But an 80's slugeroo...pbbbt...

It was the FINS baby and all that chrome....and for decades everybody hated that car....BUT low and behold in the mid 80's it gained a following...and is now deemed to be a classic exercise in American excess...

The JAPS just loved that car...and drove prices...

You might say it is reflective of the American mindset at the end of the 1950's...a sign of the American zeitgeist...

Personally the 53 Eldo convertible would be my choice of a Caddy to own. the epitome of understated lines..
