Vintage Motorcycle Thread
Stumbled on this in a garage filled with Harleys, a 1977 Kawasaki KZ1000 LTD. Never owned a bike but when I got my cycle buddies on the phone and they said things like "first superbike", "rare" and "classic" I jumped on it for $1500. Can anyone confirm that these were the first 1000 cc displacement bikes?
Post up whatever old bike you have and tell us how it came to be yours. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1408297082.jpg |
Nice!!!!!!!! $1500 is an absolute steal. I don't think that color is original but so what.
1977 KZ1000 is Kawasaki's first 1000cc four cylinder. In addition, the 1970's japanese bike market is getting ridiculous, and it's not likely to stop for a while if at all! |
