Nicole Dufault, New Jersey high school teacher, sexually assaulted three male students, cops say - CBS News

MAPLEWOOD, N.J. - A New Jersey high school language arts teacher is accused of sexually assaulting three students, reports CBS New York.

Nicole Dufault, 34, was arrested at her Caldwell, N.J., home Wednesday evening, according to the station. She was charged Thursday by the Essex County Prosecutor's Office with multiple counts of aggravated sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child.
The teacher is accused of having oral sex and intercourse with the students both on school property at Columbia High School in Maplewood, N.J., as well as in her car on multiple occasions, authorities said. The victims are all 15-year-old boys who attend the school.
Prosecutors said the incidents occurred during the regular school year and summer school in 2013 and 2014. The suspect has worked at Columbia High for nine years.

The station reports Dufault was being held at the Essex County Correctional Facility in Newark on $500,000 bail and has been ordered to have no contact with any of the victims.

Dufault is the mother of two young children who have been removed from her custody, according to the station.

The suspect's neighbor, Maureen Messina, said she has known Dufault for six years. "Seemed like... just an average mom going to work," Messina told CBS New York. "[If the allegations are true], not only did she destroy her life and her children, but the boys who are involved as well."

So does anyone think my meeting Vlad, thick Russian accent, getting a small amount of cash and having him drive me into NYC to take a train back is a bad idea?

what time is this going down? you need back up? Maplewood is on the NJ transit Morristown line, so you can grab a train right from town to NY Penn if taking a ride with Vlad makes you nervous.

Those poor 15 year old boys are scarred for life, eh? Somehow I think they'll get through this.

Despite the bad behavior of the school teacher per the article Vinny posted, Maplewood is generally regarded as a nice place AFAIK. Like many towns in this area, it probably has its good and not so good parts. Newark Way looks like its probably on the not so good side of town...pretty close to Irvington which is generally regarded as a bad place. Of course the part of Irvington that is close to Maplewood is probably the "good" part of that town.

Awesome day yesterday! Eric (carerra87) called me about showing up to make sure I didn't end up with cement shoes, and he and Joe (JQ911) met me at the buyer's shop. I don't think I've met up with any nicer Pelicans than these two guys, it was great meeting you Eric and Joe! These guys showed up, we all had a good time at Vlad's, then they dropped me off at the bus stop and stuffed my pockets with cash for the bus ride into NYC. Great guys! (that girl turned out to be really nice, we talked for a while)

The theme of the day was "it's a small world." Vlad turned out to be a Pelican from years ago, his car then, posted below. He had a book in his offices of this thing and I recognized it fast, he posted it many times in Classifieds with this girl. Vlad is a huge Porsche and BMW enthusiast with all kinds of extremely cool mods in his shop including a BMW pick-up build and wagon build that was featured in a magazine. Eric (and please fill in here) knew or knew of Vlad when they were both in San Francisco Bay area and one of Joe's and Eric's friends had his car painted by Vlad some time ago. Pretty crazy day.
