I like them...same power train as my first Mustang. Just don't lust after the body style enough to put crazy money into one and they built a heck of a lot of them. It should be worth quite a bit less than the same quality, more popular '65 Mustang. Closer to $10k IMHO.

He needs to sell it to someone in Turkey so that it is far, far away from all the cretins who would strip it and bastardize it.

I've always loved these Falcons. Always wanted one of these... IMO Much cooler than the constant stream of sameness you see at all the car shows.

I have a soft spot for these cars, my parents had a new '63 Falcon wagon when I was a small child.

I think that they are cool and light but those racing versions pictured must be very structurally reinforced. These cars are about as flexible as they come.

Oh my. Recalling the days when we had one of these gutless wonders with a 170c.i. straight six, 2 speed auto. Hilarious really.

First recollection- In a headwind, pedal maxed to the floor, had a semi-tractor trailer on the azz. Don't believe it was possible to hit 60 mph.

Next recollection- Had to get in the truck scale for the state license / tags. The truck inspection station staff couldn't hide the smirking. I forget but was issued an 'A' plate. Months went by but eventually had a few red lights pulling me over. Always a dispute about the incorrect tags / rating and fees paid.

Thing was a POS anyhow.

LOL.... Good story! Still love how they look though! The 170 was known to be..... Less than adequate shall we say.

I've always been fond of the squared off Falcon/Comet

Don't put a coyote motor in one. the cam in block 5.0 or 5.8 motors will make more hp per $$$ and weight in 200# less.
