They did that one just about right

That does look great, should be lowered though.
I wish someone made a modern 1946 Harley. This is the bike I want. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1412132390.jpg |
I'd still rather have the KTM 690 Duke. About the same HP(70) and TQ(48)...but 40 pounds lighter.
|
That duc is a good looking bike for sure...

I think the KTM is a 2 stroke and 70hp out of a 4 stroke is so much more usuable. I love it. |
It needs some drag bars, street tires, a less dorkish swing arm, and finally a less gay exhaust. Frankly it looks like a Frankenstein bike assembled from mid '00 Japanese parts trying to be clever. Never been a fan of Ducati.
|
Shaun, do you suppose you could make one of those out of a Sportster? Only way you get something like that is you make it yourself or pay someone to do it for you.
That minimalist retro thing is pretty boss, but I bet that front suspension is not that great. I had a buddy with a bicycle that had a front fork like that. Funky steering. preferred no suspension to that. |
Looks hipster.
Shaun, come out with a line of Kevlar skinny jeans, you'll make a mint! |
Ugly.
|
It's not hipster, it has a front fender.

I have no idea and have way too many projects as it is, but I love the look of the bike. I would buy a modern version in a heartbeat. Best I could do is take a CB400 and start cutting and welding. |
Friggin' awesome!!!!
|
If I wasn't so fearful of being killed or maimed by careless drivers on "auto pilot", I might actually one day learn to ride! Perhaps it can be my "REAL" mid-life crisis?!
|
Wow.
That's two exciting recent announcements, the other being the BMW R1200RS. |
Looks like a Honda Ascot.
Circa 1993. |
YES please

I sold my Triumph. This is probably my next bike.

I remember when you bought it. I've never owned that style of bike, but I thought it looked really cool, it even moved me to try a couple out. In the end, it looked better to me in the pictures than it did in real life, and I didn't much like the way it rode - at least not for the kind of riding I do. |

Won't be parting w/my '12 'tard any time soon.
I do like those Pirelli MT's, though. |
