Bag on her or not, just wait until the "family" starts fighting for whatever is left of the estate her dead mother left her.

I'm sure her scumbag father has already pitched his tent somewhere nearby.

I heard the estate is worth somewhere around $20 million. Member(s) of the family were trying to sell "deathbed" photos before she passed. bunch of effin' vultures.

Anne Rule dies...

Ms. Rule’s articles had been appearing in the magazine True Detective for more than a decade when, in the mid-1970s, fate delivered her biggest subject to her doorstep. She was working on a book about a series of unsolved murders in the Seattle area when the police in Utah arrested the man they believed to be the killer, a former law student named Theodore Robert Bundy.

The name did more than ring a bell. In the early 1970s Bundy had been a close friend and colleague, answering the suicide hotline with her on the night shift at the Seattle crisis center where they both volunteered.

Initially, Ms. Rule refused to believe that Bundy was the killer. “For a long time I was holding out hope that he was innocent, that somehow this all was a terrible mistake,” she told The Houston Chronicle in 2003. “And it wasn’t just me, it was all the people who worked with him.”

After Bundy escaped from jail and went on a killing spree in Florida, Ms. Rule changed her mind, and the focus of her book. Published in 1980, it became an instant best seller, admired for its detailed accounts of police procedure, the work of criminal investigators and courtroom drama, not to mention the author’s jailhouse interviews with Bundy.

The book, updated several times, was made into a television movie, “Ann Rule Presents: The Stranger Beside Me,” broadcast on the USA Network in 2003. Barbara Hershey took the role of Ms. Rule, and Billy Campbell played Bundy, a man Ms. Rule described, in the 2009 edition of her book, as “a sadistic sociopath who took pleasure from another human’s pain and the control he had over his victims, to the point of death, and even after.”

Ann Rae Stackhouse was born on Oct. 22, 1931, in Lowell, Mich. Her father, Chester R. Stackhouse, known as Stack, was a college football, basketball and track and field coach who took jobs all over the country, relocating the family again and again. Her mother, the former Sophie Hansen, taught special education.

As a child, Ann was surrounded by relatives in law enforcement: two sheriffs, a prosecuting attorney and a medical examiner.

"Rowdy" Roddy Piper, the wrestling world icon, movie star, and podcast host has died, the Associated Press reports. He was 61. According to the TMZ, he died from cardiac arrest in his sleep at his Hollywood home on Thursday night.

By DAN GELSTON, The Associated Press

"Rowdy" Roddy Piper, who trash talked his way to the main event of the first WrestleMania and later found movie stardom, has died. He was 61.

The WWE said Friday that Piper had died. It had no additional details.

Piper, born Roderick Toombs, was the second WWE Hall of Famer to die this summer following the June death of Dusty Rhodes. Piper's death also comes days after Hulk Hogan, his biggest rival for decades, was fired by the WWE. Hogan had used racial slurs in a conversation captured on a sex tape.

Piper and Hogan battled for years and headlined some of the biggest matches during the 1980s. Hogan and Mr. T defeated Piper and Paul Orndorff on March 31, 1985, at the first WrestleMania at Madison Square Garden.

Piper was a villain for the early portion of his career, once cracking a coconut over the skull of Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka. He later starred in the movie "They Live."

WWE chairman Vince McMahon says Piper "was one of the most entertaining, controversial and bombastic performers ever in WWE, beloved by millions of fans around the world."

Big League Stew
A young bat boy has died of injuries sustained when he was struck by a bat at a National Baseball Congress World Series game in Wichita, Kan., on Saturday afternoon.

Kaiser Carlile, age 9, was a bat boy for the Liberal (Kan.) Bee Jays. He was struck in the head on a follow-through swing near the on-deck circle by a player who didn't notice him, and although he was wearing a helmet, sustained severe injuries. Carlile died from the injuries on Sunday.

The game's home-plate umpire, Mark Goldfeder, a 25-year paramedic, treated the boy until paramedics could arrive and transport him to the hospital.

The National Baseball Congress is the organizing body for a collection of amateur and semi-pro teams. The Liberal Bee Jays were one of many teams participating in the event, and were in the midst of a game against a team from San Diego when the accident happened. Kaiser was rushed to a local hospital, and after a long conference in the outfield, the team decided to play on. Liberal defeated San Diego in 13 innings, 13-5, and advanced to play on Sunday.

Before their next game, however, the team received the news that Kaiser, who worked all summer as the team's bat boy, had died.

I lost my career when tackled by two linebackers while reffing a college football game. I'm still alive but my life pretty much went down the tubes.

Diving that deep at 53 puts pressure on the old bod. She was amazing for her feats. Heck, at 55 I have to decompress getting out of the bathtub. RIP Mariana.
