Thanks for posting that Baz; I knew there was some bad joojoo related to this whole sorry episode; this video makes clear that there was a lot going on.
Edit; thanks to the above video, I became aware of this. Embedded in this story is another video by Otis Gibbs, that's probably the most sympathetic to watch. Everything about this is just starting to read like a tragedy.

Masters champion Frank Urban “Fuzzy” Zoeller Jr. passed away at the age of 74. Zoeller won the 1979 Masters in his Tournament debut, one of only three Masters champions to do so.

Steve Cropper, Blues Brothers band member and Booker T. & the MG's guitarist, has died. He was 84.
Cropper is most known for his time in Booker T. & the MG's. The band consisted of Cropper, keyboard player Booker T. Jones, bassist Donald "Duck" Dunn and drummer Al Jackson. They were a racially integrated band, which was rare for the time. "When you walked in the door at Stax, there was absolutely no color. We were all there for the same reason — to get a hit record," Cropper told AP in 2020. https://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/steve-cropper-blues-brothers-guitarist-stax-records-legend-dies-84

Anthony Geary, who played Luke Spencer for 40 years on "General Hospital" died in the Netherlands of complications from a scheduled operation. His costar Genie Francis, who played his love interest Laura on "General Hospital," remembers him as "a powerhouse as an actor."
Not ashamed to admit I watched "General Hospital" for a few years. Luke and Laura were a part of my life. RIP Luke.....

This is bizarre. The guy has a head injury and he’s acting erratically. So they call the police?

WWII Navy veteran Ira 'Ike' Schab, one of last remaining Pearl Harbor survivors, dies at 105
With his passing, there remain only about a dozen survivors of the surprise attack, which killed just over 2,400 troops and propelled the United States into the war. Schab was a sailor of just 21 at the time of the attack, and for decades he rarely spoke about the experience. He joined the Navy at 18, following in the footsteps of his father, he said in a February interview for Pacific Historic Parks. Schab spent most of the war with the Navy in the Pacific, going to the New Hebrides, now known as Vanuatu, and then the Mariana Islands and Okinawa, Japan. After the war he studied aerospace engineering and worked on the Apollo spaceflight program as an electrical engineer for General Dynamics, helping send astronauts to the moon. Schab's son also joined the Navy and is a retired commander. Speaking at a 2022 ceremony, Schab asked people to honor those who served at Pearl Harbor. “Remember what they’re here for. Remember and honor those that are left. They did a hell of a job,” he said. “Those who are still here, dead or alive.”

I fear the day that I hear the last member of a military force that served and fought in WWII has passed.

I've been subscribed to Biffle's YouTube deal for a while now, kind of got to know him in a way.
A nice guy with good values and a great sense of humor. And he liked going fast and playing with his toys. Sad. Greg's buggy the blue one, he and Cleetus were buddies. |
