Panini Cafe has great food... Panini Cafe
and Cuban coffee to wake you up and Bloody Mary's to cure what ails ya from Saturday night.

I might be up for a breakfast, I get up early on the weekend anyways.

I have a gig at Typhoon Sat night so I'll be up late. I doubt 7:30AM will be a functional reality for me :D

tweezers74 10-21-2014 06:12 PM

Sidney, stick around with me and see me off. I am not going to start right off at 7 am because I am slow. Then meet up with them at a later time... It will take me forever! Ha ha!

porsche4life 10-21-2014 06:34 PM

Haha. Good point.

Ok guys, want to move back to 830 then? Is that more reasonable?

C'mon Todd. You know it's been a good night out when you have breakfast before you go home to bed.

porsche4life 10-21-2014 06:59 PM

And we know he doesn't drink while playing! So it won't be that rough of a night!

And mmmm... Typhoon.

Noah930 10-21-2014 07:01 PM

Yeah, I'm gonna pass on the bug food.

porsche4life 10-21-2014 07:17 PM

The lamb kicked ass and you know it.

I might be up for it. Gotta check with DRACO A5OG he's driving up from the South Bay that day to help me with my Smog failure crap. I'll PM him and get his thoughts on the timing. I could drive the illegal GROSS POLLUTER down there that morning. I owe him a few meals anyway for all his help with my GROSS POLLUTER.

That dish is worth the price of admission.

If it is later I might be able to get that direction. Even though I don't drink, insomnia rules the day so if I have a morning where I don't have to be somewhere and I'm actually able to sleep, I capitalize.

So I'm a definite maybe :D

I had a chance to meet Draco and a couple of fine folks here. He's a jack of all trades and a hell of a funny guy.

So where's breakfast? Pick a place that won't be impossible to get to, given the foot race stuff.

Craig T 10-22-2014 06:54 AM

I'd like to go too if you'll have me. I've only met a couple of you guys, and don't know anybody by their Pelican screen names.

Has the place and time been nailed down? I'll round up some race gas and stick a muffler on Gretchen Green.

On your way to the SoCal breakfast, stop by my place and let me ride along with you. :D

Yes, please not too close to the chaos, somewhere we can actually park would be nice!

Craig T 10-22-2014 08:06 PM

Why not meet on the Westside and run PCH to Latigo and breakfast at The Rock Store. ;)

porsche4life 10-22-2014 09:12 PM

Ok, based on keeping away from the runners, and the suggestions here I'm thinking either Phillipes or the Urth Caffe? Any input from you guys?

Urth is about two blocks from the route, so getting around there may be a little tricky, but parking should be OK since its not near the start/finish.

Craig, that would be fun but I'm going to be tight on time, and I don't think my Escape would hang in the curves! ;)

How is parking at the two places I mentioned? Am I going to have to pay for a space?

Noah930 10-22-2014 09:38 PM

Philippe's has a free parking lot. Or at least if did the last time I went there many, many years ago. French dip for breakfast?
