True... That's the point I was trying to make with my post.

His shadenfreude, her karma. Unless you can't truly know about someone else's karma. It would be difficult. How to know all the deeds of another, and their ancestors if you look at it a certain way.

I don't do unto other others as I would have them do to me because of concerns about karma. Please don't anybody drag this over the line, but I don't do it because Jesus says so, and I consider myself on His team. I choose to be that way because that is the sort of world I want to live in.

That is stretching it a bit don't you think?

Or, perhaps we should judge another human upon their physical attributes only.
That is what I interpreted.

This is proven in our block. I treat everybody well and am generally well received. However one individual is always trying to win at the expense of others. Most of everybody avoids her like the plague or are just civil. She does not get it and never will. What goes around comes around.
Guy.
How does that work for little kids. Make a trip to your local Children's hospital. You will see some horrible suffering of the children. Are they being punished for for the deeds of their parents? The list of horrible illness in children is endless. Many kids never make it out of early childhood.

Whoever said life was fair especially for little kids that are seriously sick?

This thread keeps haunting me... It's made me think about my own life and what's happened so far.

Most of the great things in my life have been because of hard work and good decisions.
Same with the bad stuff, poor decisions or little man thinking for big man but even then good can come from the bad stuff.

But sometimes things happen that you really can't explain rationally. For instance, random events that have a dramatic effect on your life.
Like a fantastic job opportunity out of left field or a change at work that leads to a promotion and pay rise.

Is that Karma? Maybe it is.

I believe we all make mistakes but I will not validate your poor choices and/or perversions and subsidize the results your actions.

"Karma means action and action motivated by compassion is good.
To complain that what happens to you is just the result of your karma is lazy.
Instead, confidently recalling the advice that, "You are your own master," you can change what happens by taking action."
