No pics, unfortunately, ice and snow here have kept me from that. A link to the ebay auction has tons here:
Car runs great, everything works, including the flip out handle on the trunk and the door assists. A few interior bulbs out, none of which are a big deal but they are a bit of an effort to access, and will be replaced by led's. Only issue unearthed so far is that it seems to be using a bit of coolant, will have it pressure tested shortly to see. Again, I'm prepared for German luxo level maintenance expense. The two air/vacuum pumps alone can give headaches-some of the system, for example, is plumbed in a circuit with the lumbar support airpillows in the seatbacks, which are a known failure point. Not a big deal to fix, but on what other car have you ever heard that? I smile every time I roll down the road. Its a big heavy car that feels every inch a total isolation pod, but it has poise and roadholding of something half its weight. Its not sporty, of course, but much more of a driver's car than you'd be lead to believe by its silence and mass. Will get photos up eventually. Its silver/black. Have a set of Brabus wheels to go on it. A little intimidated as I understand the larger wheels will degrade the isolation somewhat, so hanging on the 16's with 60's if the 19's with 40's degrade the experience.

I personally think they look perfect with a set of classic AMG wheels. 19s sound too big for a classic and understated auto.

Tend to agree, these are an interim solution. The wheels on there now are ugly, am on the lookout for a nice set of AMG monoblock 18's

Just my personal opinion, as a long term ex-owner of an S500, I think the AMG and Brabus wheels look like crap on a W140. The nice ride you now enjoy will go down the toilet, too, as the larger wheels are heavier and the low profile, stiff carcass tires will require a higher air pressure, not to mention that they offer little ride comfort to begin with.
There's a reason Mercedes used 16 inch wheels and a relatively low inflation pressure for the tires. They made a bunch of different wheels for that car amd some of them suit it well. JR |

Something like this suits the character of the car and the design has ties to past Mercedes styling:
