That's one of the reasons I'm never selling the 911. Something cared for, and crafted, in it's build. So I'll look after it for it's life. |

The crest was made up in the 50s

By the '80s at least it was made of some kind of white metal. The gold coloring was almost gone from mine when I bought the 924S.
