That was one of the best finals I've seen. The end to end action was just so much fun to watch. Congratulations to the Hawks.

This is their time to soak in the Cup but have to wonder who's going to be around next season - Salary cap

Bruins have about $6.5M in cap room, with 16 players under contract.

Hawks have $6.7M in room, but only 14 players under contract.

Both are in deep trouble.

Yes but the B's have already lost Iginla, Boychuk, Thorton, Seguin, Horton, and they are still way in trouble. Anyone can fill a roster within budget. The problem is retaining your key people within budget. Chiarelli gambled and mortgaged the future and lost.
