Summer for sure. I can wear shorts and a t-shirt and be comfortable. There should be a law against snow. Make that crap stay up in the mountains were it belongs.

Summer for me, no doubt. We have had 2 of the worst winters here in Ohio and I hate the cold. As I have gotten older I am much less tolerant of the cold and i look forward to a move to get away from cold eather soon.....

I spent most of my summers growing up hanging out at beach... I didn't have a surf board but there were girls... and swimming in the ocean seemed like more fun than sitting on board waiting for a wave.

However there is something about going for a walk in the woods when it is snowing.

For that matter most of my vacations back when I was single were taken in the fall, I could say I loved the cool cloudy weather but I loved the off season rates just as much.

And then there is Hawaii...

Summer no question. This is a big part of why I'm leaving the northeast for good - heading somewhere surrounded by water in a much more southerly latitude.

I'd say it depends. For my first six years in Colorado I lived at 8,000'+. Any level of reasonably vigorous outdoor work or play, with temps in the teens and in the absence of wind, was typically performed quite comfortably in shirt-sleeves.

Late Fall and early Spring are my favorite times of year in these here parts, for the moderate temps and verdant foliage.

Summer.
I know very few people that look forward to winter.
Winter/Cold is for people that need to hide their out of shape bodies
under layers and layers of clothes. No thanks---give me 90's, humidity, sun,
bikini watching in shorts and flip flops any day of the week!

In Summer I can enjoy top down driving in the Miata
In Winter I can spend hours blowing snow out of the driveway.
In summer the horses can eat grass.
In Winter the hay we put up in the mow last year has to be thrown down so they can eat it and poop in their stalls. Then that has to be mucked out.
In Summer the wife and I can enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine on the deck.
In Winter I can shovel snow off the deck if I feel like it.
I have never had to cancel something because of a snow storm in Summer.
I used to enjoy Winter far more when I was a kid.

Best

I accessorize like a deep autumn, but my stylist says I am a soft summer.

The only thing certain is I hate cold weather.

Warm = sun dresses, miniskirts, and bikinis
Cold = layers of bulky clothing and thick coats

There happen to be some lakeside houses near me Matt.

A few years ago I was at the convenience store in line for my purchase with several men. A sweet young college age female was standing outside pumping gas in her car. She was backlit with the sun shining through her light summer dress. We all stood there admiring the view and one guy sighed and said "I love summer" and we all did at that moment.

If I never see snow again after this year it'll be too soon. Hoping to be out of here by fall in which case I'd likely never see it again (unless I took a trip somewhere cold during winter months which would be highly unlikely). Damn good chance I've seen my last snowfall. Won't miss it a bit (or shoveling, or icy roads, or endless sucky gray / dark days, or fighting with snowblowers).

I'm trading all that for a surfboard, palm trees and sunshine. Time to start living life right and not just for a "good job" in a place I otherwise can't stand.

It's definitely a consideration Sid! I could totally handle retiring to a lake in AZ.

I actually like the mix of four seasons here...a bit of snow (one maybe...then gone) and I don't mind the heat/humidity either. Spring & fall...simiply awesome

In NW Ohio, I absolutely love late Spring and Early Autumn/Fall. I worked for 15 years in a Rubber injection molding factory, so I can handle the heat (100 degrees + most of the Summer) I love the 60-75 degree sunny weather and seeing the seasons change....finally seeing the grass turn green after 6 months of hard cold temps and wind, and the crunch of maple leaves under foot in the fall with low humidity days.

I hear you man, it seems like the wind never stops blowing hard here in the flatlands of Ohio during Winter, we had 3 solid months of below freezing high daily temps, and a month later, it was 88 degrees and humid a few days ago.
