Are you a Winter person or Summer?

Winter is my preference, I love being in my mountain house during a snowy week. For me it's much easier to get warm than get cool in the Summer. In fact I think I hate the heat we get in Denver in the summer. I drive around with my AC on full right now and its only early Spring.

I used to not really care but the older I get the more I prefer Summer. And with several inches of snow expected here on Sunday I'm sure that preference won't change in the next couple of days.

Am I a winter person or a summer person?

Yes, ski, water or snow. Whitewater rafting in the summer, walking a tree line with a good dog just as it is starting to get light, looking for pheasants when it is so cold that if you stuck your tongue on the barrel of your shotgun, it would stick just like the flagpole kid in "A Christmas Story"

Sorry, can't pick a favorite, but I guess given where I live, I need to drive to get to winter, so that means summer by default.

Both for me...

Summer, Outdoor fun stuff, Cycling and the beach.

Winter, Photography and bush walking. Coffee in nice coffee shops.

The thing is to get out and meet up with people IRL regardless of the weather.

Recently I was invited to a "Munch". People who are into BDSM and weird stuff like that get together for pizza and drinks.
I was pleasantly surprised. They were actually fairly normal.

I don't function well in cold weather. My face gets numb and my jaw stops working, making it hard to talk.

My nose runs profusely in cold weather, whether I'm sick or not... always have the fear of developing a giant snot-cicle under my nose that I can't feel because my face is so numb.

I'll take 115 degrees over 15 any time.

occassioally it my way I get to do three summers in a row kiwi, euro, kiwi.

Winter sucks. I enjoy duck hunting in T-shirt weather in the Bay Area. Speaking of hunting ... I do appreciate cold weather on hunting trips, even snow for good tracking and things staying fresh. The dogs also run a lot harder in the cold. But other than that, you can have it. I would never move to a climate with long harsh winters. It is bad for you, especially as you get older. Dealing with snow, slippery conditions, damp ...

When I was a teen I used to spend a lot of time in CO, my dream was a cabin in the mountains. Twenty years later I say screw that! As I get older I strongly dislike winter. Now my dream is to retire on a lake somewhere that never gets below 70.

I hate winter, I hurt, you have to bundle up, I just can't deal with it and it seems every year it gets worse.
If I get over heated all I have to do is grab a cool drink and sit down for a couple of mins and I am fine, if I get cold, the only thing that will really warm me back up is a hot shower.
Summer please

I'm an auto mechanic in Pennsylvania . Fvk winter . Maybe I would enjoy it more if I did not have to work on slush dripping cars for 4 months of the year .
It was 92 degrees here yesterday, I was working with another guy putting a motor in his speed 3. He kept wiping his forehead, and complaining about being hot. I felt alive

Spring/Fall person. Every time I'm at my SoCal house I'm as happy as I can be. It seems like it's always Spring there. The Northeast in the Fall is spectacular. YMMV

I can handle cold better than hot however I prefer to be warm rather than chilly. Stirred not shaken.
70's would be ideal.

I dig the warmer months because you can so many things. Winter here has been stupid cold the past few years and it wears you down. The past few days have been perfect. 70s and 80s with bright sunshine seems to put everyone in a good mood.

Only when it's extremely hot do I use the vehicle a/c(unless my wife is in the car). For me, it makes the change from car to outside less drastic. Heck, I used to wear long sleeve shirts and workpants during the summer when I was driving a truck. I always felt it was more professional versus shorts.
