We watched it again, it NEEDS a second watching. The first time around is like having your face stuck in a bonfire, it's just 100% sensory overload. The second time around allowed us to catch all of the references, missed dialog (yes, there are at least 10 or 15 spoken lines in the movie...), stuff like seeing what was tattooed on his back before it made sense, etc.

Watch it again.

Guess I should see it. Rent it. Or whatever.

Got a 70" TV for my birthday so at least I have something on which to "experience" it.

Bad news... Adelaide boy Quentin Kenihan has passed.

I often saw him buzzing around town in his wheel chair & I always said hello to him. He was the friendliest guy ever.

RIP.

I enjoyed Fury Road. I'll watch this new one, but it hasn't particularly grabbed me with the trailer.

I agree. When they made the original - mostly the road stunts were shot near the aptly named town of Anakie- there was ofcourse no CGI- or even permission to close the roads. It was guerilla film making in many regards. Just illegal then, totally impossible today.
