We watched it again, it NEEDS a second watching. The first time around is like having your face stuck in a bonfire, it's just 100% sensory overload. The second time around allowed us to catch all of the references, missed dialog (yes, there are at least 10 or 15 spoken lines in the movie...), stuff like seeing what was tattooed on his back before it made sense, etc.
Watch it again.

Got a 70" TV for my birthday so at least I have something on which to "experience" it.

Bad news... Adelaide boy Quentin Kenihan has passed.
I often saw him buzzing around town in his wheel chair & I always said hello to him. He was the friendliest guy ever. RIP.  Disability advocate and actor Quentin Kenihan dies in Adelaide, aged 43 - ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)

I enjoyed Fury Road. I'll watch this new one, but it hasn't particularly grabbed me with the trailer.
