I don't like seeing that happen to any animal, but Muslims can't stand pork, and are even offended by the use of the word. Indians hold cows sacred, but not any other animal, Vegans hold all animals sacred, and would rather see whole industries shut down than a single animal skin be used for a coat, or the flesh for dinner.

Go to a factory farm where chickens have 1 sq ft to survive antil being slaughtered, or go to a lab where monkeys are subjected to torture before succumbing. How's about a crab boat in the bearing sea with 90,000 lbs of crap literally stuffed into a tank full of water long enough to get them to shore where they are processed live. We all contribute to this in different ways, but most of us don't soil our hands doing it.
