"OK, the whole fiasco is over in less than 10 minutes. He was unbelievably apologetic and humble. He showed me his med marijuana card (back pain…LOL) and the plants are PERFECTLY LEGAL to be in his possession. A cop can't even take them from him if he's pulled over.

Kinda cool. He grew them inside a closet under lights. The house he and his girlfriend are renting is being sold by the landlord. It's being tented and fumigated for termites. He panicked and had no place else to hide them. He swears they were only there for two days. He said I can drive by his house today and see the termite tenting. I believe him.

Those three little plants will provide his "medical marijuana needs" for the entire year. He said it will yield about 8 or 9 ounces. Oh, BTW…its call "Blackberry" LOL The world is changing.

Now give me my bottle of scotch and GET OFF MY LAWN!"

Yes, OP was technically breaking the law while they were in his possession. Once the "kid" (when did we start accepting the term "kid" to describe people in their 20's?) had the plants back in his possession, no crimes were being committed.

That kid is probably not a "drug dealer".
The real drug dealers use big lights, hydroponics, cloning, lots of land and water, etc.

He is at least an inexperienced one at that.
Most sunshine-grown plants need at least 12-14 hours during growing cycle, then cut back to 8 or so while budding.
Very precise stuff.
Those plants were under a tarp in a shed in the middle of the day.

If you look at the plant, the flowers or buds are not complete.
There are signs of heat stress/sulphur/other deprivation.
A few of the lower leaves are very healthy green, which indicates they are still not yet in full bloom and have weeks/months to go before harvest.

Tried many times and failed.

6' x 8' backroom closet...exhaust fan... co2 tank w/regulator & timer and perforated line affixed to ceiling...two different grow lamps - one to simulate summer sun, the other for autumn sun...water from adjacent bathroom...organic liquid fertilizer...keep an eye out for insects & mold, etc.

Boom! $$$$$$$
.

Times have indeed changed....I don't do NUTHIN' like I used to but...

Almost lost my job when I was an AVP at a megabank decades ago after a DUI (I was parked on the side of the road asleep, 'cause I knew I shouldn't be driving).

Busted for simple possesion of MJ years later at another major corp....never heard squat....much less of a hassle all around (i.e. none).

Send it to me for analysis and I'll decide if it's indeed "skunkweed"
