I used BA cables on these cars a thousand times over without any issues back in the day. I was really into Honda cars when I first opened, and there were a million of them on the road back then. If you are losing adjustment, you have something else going on . I cannot imagine that cable stretching. Those clutches are not all that stout .
Man, I made a lot of money doing Honda head gaskets, and clutches back then. I swear , I could do them in my sleep. The civics were like working on your lawn mower, the preludes were a little tougher, but still pretty easy .
How good is your daughter with a clutch?
We had a 91 prelude SI. it was a great car. Honda was the top dog back in this era in my opinion.
