Not much to go on but I will guess... Buick Riviera?

GH85Carrera 02-05-2016 01:16 PM

For whatever reason it seems like a Monte Carlo to me.

herr_oberst 02-05-2016 01:36 PM

Deuce and a quarter.

1971 Riviera is my guess.

No wing window, not that Electra, maybe a '70 My first impression was a Monte, but the vinyl top does not look right for some reason, maybe a Riv

If it helps here's some wider crops of the photo. The chrome A-Pillar isn't clicking anything in my head.

Early mid 60's have chrome. Maybe a Continental coupe? The 225 has the rear window angles? I am not seeing Riv.

1970-71 Olds Cutlass Supreme

Tobra 02-06-2016 06:52 AM

Could be a Cutlass. I will go look at my best friend's '70

When you are as cool as J.J. Cale you don't need to close no stinking door! :D

That's a GM boat from the '70's. That's a normal shutline.

This angle might help convince the doubters
'71 Riviera

Complete with chrome on the A pillar.

Best

The Boat-tail Buick Riv is #1 on my list of American cars of that era. Cool for days, and one of the last cars with beautiful lines before the dark days of auto design IMO.
