It has a push-button starter, just like my '50.

He's going to need a cage.

I guess that's what happens when you don't require smog for 74 and under?!

If all of this was as professionally staged as, say, Ken Block's stuff, I would say more power to 'em. Awesome stuff and very entertaining.

I understand there were spotters and such, and at least a cursory effort put into ensuring the public's safety while filming this. It was, however, very much a hooligan, underground undertaking, without permission from any authorities and done on roads left open to the public, whereas, in contrast, Block's stuff is done with proper permissions on closed streets.

And therein lies the rub, at least for me. It wouldn't take much for this group to wind up hurting someone, or worse. That, and like all such stunts, they encourage others to try to top them. They've already lowered the bar substantially from where Block placed it. Guaranteed the next bunch of hoodlums will lower it even further.

So Magnus got into off road VWs.
Couldn't help myself.

Pretty impressive machine!

Must be plenty of off road machinery that is capible of tearing up a city like that, thankfully their owners have more sense than to do it and post it on the internet.

Good way to build a case for the prosecution that needs to follow.

Does look fun tho

Tail heavy but freaking cool.

My 14 year old kid wants to build a road legal, toned down version of that, and he knows daddy has a good 75% of the parts.
We'll see if he has the motivation...

The local news said the guy is on probation for a previous reckless driving conviction so he's probably looking at some jail time.

LOL, quite good driving at times. There was a downhill that I was sure he was going to come to grief on.
