That is all

I prefer goats or chickens to humans. You can eat them afterwards.

I used to sacrifice my blood, maybe a dozen or fifteen times. But after having been in the UK during the 1990s they don't want it as they feel I may have mad cow disease ( Bovine spongiform encephalopathy ) so they are not after my blood anymore.

No donation...sliced thumb while popping holes in a stainless steel enclosure. The "slug" is quite sharp...The slug sticks in the mechanical punch. Used pliers to get it out. Slipped when it came free..

Almost every time I work on a car, I sacrifice blood to the automotive gods. Once, while on a creeper, I raised up my head slightly too soon. Scalp lacerations are not dangerous, really, but holy smokes, do they bleed freely! My wife passed out after seeing me, and I had to drive myself to the ER to get stitched up. Pro tip: hydrogen peroxide works really well for getting blood stains out of car upholstery.

It just pisses me off when I start bleeding while working on something and start dripping all over the project, Have to go in the house, clean it off, neosporen, bandaid(s), or the more likely scenario, I wrap it with painters tape and keep going.

After selling the old E , I picked up a first year Miata with the SNC problem. As I took off parts to reach the end of the crank, I managed to also remove the skin on one knuckle. I call the car Ruby, not for he red paint, but for the christening of blood.

Amateur. Everyone knows you're supposed to use superglue.

Superglue? Who keeps fresh superglue in their garage? I always just use duct tape for quickie-bandaids.

It works. Except I always glue some other damn thing to myself at the same time.

Electrical tape. Waterproof, stretchy for pressure, and thin enough to be maneuverable.

Just remember to wash first and remove it before, say, 12 hours, or you will trap some nasty infection in there really good like...

Squeeze it under water and bleed it good, HP, fresh toilet paper(a good coagulant), painters tape.

Hydrogen Peroxide is more a surfacant than a disinfectant i think.

I let some blood out before I begin the project. That way I choose the time, location and severity and have the paper towel and duck tape all set to go.

Huge time-saver. Plus, the kitchen floor doesn't require the usual aftermath hazmat protocol.
