This is just as childish……… just as annoying…. so before you rejoice maybe everyone needs to take a collective look in the mirror.

You will have to excuse me . It's Mothers Day and we are admist a huge celebration. Fireworks , boat rides, bonfire and well maybe later a clown show. :-).

What are the chances the boat could sink? Tim

brisboats 05-08-2016 03:29 PM

Well Tim pretty slim since we have a Boston Whaler!
What are the chances you can carry on and contribute to the forums in lieu of stirring the pot?

I am a bystander in all of this. I don't post or get involved but I have to ask, why do you even respond to this stuff?

You are perpetuating what you are trying to remove:confused:

just to level set...many of us are quite serious in our interest and even love of our sports cars. many of us own several cars from various countries but consider ourselves Porsche people first and foremost.

many of are quite serious in our vocation and with cars being an avocation...we often enjoy blowing off some steam and have a few childish/harmless laughs here.

what the problem is?

In deference to the idiots departed lol just lol.

I was not reffering to you as a noob - just for the record.

Lets stop this now - and just hope that Ronnie can show his ugly head here again some day.

Over and out,

Christian

The problem is the inability to balance humor against attack.

The problem is those who think they are policing are themselves guilty but guilty from a sanctimonious posture.

The ultimate problem is the distraction it becomes......

I am not perfect. There are those who get under my skin and there are those whose skin I get under. I try to remember I am not supposed to type angry here.

That is not to say we should not entertain healthy debate......

In the true spirit of Ronnie (who I'm certain is devastated as a result of being banned) here's hoping many join in so it can be a mass-de-bate.

NYNick 05-09-2016 07:33 AM

5 pages in guys...time to move on.

brisboats 05-09-2016 07:41 AM

Fact is , I have family members that participate on the other forums here. Both Porsche owners and avid enthusiast. I am thankful that to my knowledge they have never ventured over here and witnessed the nonsense. This forum isn't the place for a continuous banter by the few and bullying those who disagree with either their humor or opinion.
I stated many months ago that participating here was like being in a locker room , the jokes and the constant reality that some jack &$" was sneaking up behind you to snap you with the wet end of a towel.
I think this is a move in the proper direction and maybe one day I cannot fear that my Son
and Nephew visit this forum. There is a time and a place for everything, this forum has largely been run by the vocal few that really added little if anything to any discussion. I have said all I need to say.

And yet it seems likely you'll say more.

Sanctimonious rubbish. This thread really should be locked.
