Don't even deal with the neighbor, ESPECIALLY if it's a rental.
Talk to DISH directly. For your sake I hope that is your fence because it makes the situation much more clear in your favor. |
If that was the most annoying thing that my neighbors did, I would be thanking the good Lord above.

Will painting the dish baby-poo yellow solve anything?
Answer: no, no it won't. But it should still be done at first available opportunity just because. |

I'll take a satellite dish over the lowlife scumbag that lives next to me in a second. Thank your blessings... . |
Do they make a signal scrambler that can be activated with the flip of a switch ? It would be fun to wait til the big game was on, or he was having friends over to make his picture go intermittantly fuzzy. I like the idea of a random loose bolt as well, to be able to "readjust" the aim by a few degrees on demand.

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1464530340.jpgLooking at the responses I don't think you have anything to complain about. Rental next door? This is what happened to our fence. The third set of tenants behind us see fit to back into our fence and push the poles and fence inward. As I go about fixing it my wife goes to the tenants' front door and tells them what happened. I phone the landlord to complain about the third set of tenants deforming our chain link fence.
The defence of the latest set of tenants is that there is not enough room to turn around. My wife suggests that they back in to their parking pad...:) |
(Threadjack!) Your post inspired me to go ahead and do battle with an old satellite dish pole in my front yard. It was a formidable opponent. The cement slab was soooo big, the pole just snapped, so I did the proper thing. I left it there and covered with dirt. Good luck!

Seems to me that your beef is with the landlord, and Dish. Yes, Indians drink beer. It's kind of where the concept of an India Pale Ale originated, although Indians had beer well before the Europeans went there. Like Americans, though, you will find some Indians who do not drink. |

That is unsightly, and does affect your property value. Dish Corp should be able to re-locate it lower on neighbors side, fully. Worst case scenario is buying a big plastic plant and attaching to fence corner. |

Casino - you shouldn't need to ask. 7/11 - if Hindus try Scotch. They drink it like water. Sikhs I've found you are good with beer. But scotch works too :) Moslems - cut the dish down and salt the earth. It'll save time. |

not sure what you are trying to say here. could you please elaborate? |
Offering them beer won't work. You'll just offend them, so you may as well get your retaliation in early. That help?
